"Symmetric Pursuit" Photo Book

This ongoing series of photographs arose subconsciously and consists of images I’ve captured over a decade in a multitude of locations. I’ve always been attracted to the simplicity and balance in symmetry along with the technicality and skill involved to capture it correctly. I believe the significant Art Deco history in Tulsa, my home, has always had an influence in creating this series. This particular work is highly architectural.
Recently I’ve decided to compile these photographs and produce this photo book. I really enjoy the layout process and pairing images for spreads. The images consist mostly of film photography, which is the majority of my work, and pretty much an even split of color and black and white.
